Watford Masterplanning

ProCure21 has several elements to it that are about achieving cost and time certainty, high quality design and continuous improvement.

The ProCure21 team went through a rigourous selection process to appoint the PSCPs to the framework.  Over 120 companies expressed their interest, but through a PreQualification Questionnaire, Site Visits and Interviews, 12 were selected to sit on a framework agreement that would allow them to do ProCure21 work on publicly funded schemes up to 2008.

Benchmarking and Value for Money

Clients and the construction industry have proved in recent years that through working in partnership, substantial cost savings can be made.  These cost improvements have been delivered in a number of ways, from saving time to lowering component costs, to reducing health and safety incidents, which might, int the past, thave halted work.

ProCure21 constantly benchmarks its schemes in a number of ways based upon construction industry KPIs.  Data on:

  • Design and Environmental
  • Whole Life Costing
  • Scheme Costs
  • Culture
  • Defect Management
  • Risk Management
  • Service Satisfaction

is collected by a web enabled benchmarking system.  The data is entered by the Trusts and the PSCPs at site level to make sure the data is as accurate as possible.  Reports are generated and given to those concerned.  Already we have figures that have shown that ProCure21 is making cost improvements of 10% compared to the beginning of the framework.
