Watford Masterplanning

ProCure21 has several elements to it, that together aim to achieve cost and time certainty, high quality design and continuous improvement.

The ProCure21 team went through a rigorous selection process to appoint the Principal Supply Chain Partners (PSCP) to the framework.  Over 120 companies expressed an interest, but through a Prequalification Questionnaire, site visits and interviews, 12 were selected to sit on a framework agreement that would allow them to deliver ProCure21 work on publicly funded schemes up to 2008. The framework has since been extended by 2 years to September 2010 with 8 PSCP's to select from.

Benchmarking and Value for Money

Clients and the construction industry have proved in recent years that substantial cost savings can be made through working in partnership. These cost improvements have been delivered in a number of ways, from saving time and lowering component costs to reducing health and safety incidents, which might in the past have halted work.

ProCure21 constantly benchmarks its schemes in a number of ways based upon construction industry Key Performance Indicators (KPI).  Data on:

  • Design and Environmental
  • Whole Life Costing
  • Scheme Costs
  • Culture
  • Defect Management
  • Risk Management
  • Service Satisfaction

is collected by a web-enabled benchmarking system.  The data is entered by the Trusts and the PSCP's at site level to make sure the data is as accurate as possible.  Reports are generated and given to those concerned.
