East Surrey PCT

Medicinq have a close working relationship with East Surrey PCT, where our role includes preparing an Estates Strategy and three FBCs for work at East Surrey and Caterham Dene Hospitals, valued in excess of £3m.  The work includes new ward areas, adult therapies reconfiguration and refurbishment of the childrens therapies area.  Notable benefits to the Trust from our involvement in these projects include;

Involvement with the user group and FBC meetings ensures that a robust design and cost is contained within a business case that delivers benefits in improved clinical service

• The Medicinq team is supporting the Trust by liaising with key staff and other stakeholders and then writing the FBCs and Estates Strategy on their behalf.
• In particular, Medicinq are liaising with a charitable healthcare provider, who will be using part of Caterham Dene Hospital, and facilitating completion of the legal agreements between the charity and the Trust.
• Medicinq are also working with the SHA to ensure that these FBCs are robust and fit into the strategic context for the whole area

As part of the team, Medicinq are able to help the Trust make informed decisions regarding the preferred option, phasing, scope of work and risk management to ultimately give best value
