Challenge:
To develop a solution that fits with the business case and makes optimum use of the site to allow for delivery of quality care and include flexibility for future changes.
Solution:
We have employed Healthcare Planners to agree the model of care with the clinical team from the outset. The clinical engagement and that of the Third Sector will continue through the design process to ensure that the final solution meets the teams requirements and provides a class leading care facility.
Benefit:
The benefit to the patients of the new unit will be that they are treated in line with the latest guidelines and follow a clear path of treatment in purpose designed facilities that should reduce the length of stay and increase the quality of care.
